ThunderBird 1.5

To change the mail server in ThunderBird 1.5, open up the ThunderBird mail program by double clicking on the icon. Once in the mail program, select Tools --> Account Settings.

Tools --> Accounts

In the Account Settings window, on the left hand pane, click on Server Settings. Then change the Server Name to mail.crt.net.au.

Also, make sure that your Username is set to the full username. So for example, if my username was johns is should now be johns@crt.net.au.

Properties

Next, click on the Outgoing Server (SMTP) on the left hand side and select the default CRT account and click Edit.

In the SMTP Server window, change the Server Name to relay.crt.net.au.

Servers

Click OK to save the changes. Then click OK again, to confirm all changes
